About me

In a world filled with constant change and rapid advancements, it’s easy to get lost in the noise. Information is abundant, but wisdom remains scarce. This is where the concept of the “tenth man” becomes essential.

The origin of the tenth man lies in a principle known as the “Devil’s Advocate” or the “tenth man rule.” It’s a practice rooted in the intelligence community where if nine people agree on a course of action, it’s the responsibility of the tenth man to disagree and question it. This principle ensures that every decision is scrutinized from all angles, preventing groupthink and promoting thorough analysis.

I embody this principle in every aspect of my life. My curiosity and humility drive me to question everything. I never take things at face value and always seek evidence, data, and knowledge before forming an opinion. This trait has shaped my understanding of the world and highlighted the importance of continuous learning and being aware of the misinformation that surrounds us.

As someone who has navigated the complexities of the corporate world, I understand the gap between what is taught in universities and what is expected in the professional arena. Fresh graduates, especially in developing countries, often enter the workforce green and unprepared for the nuances of corporate life. They hold misconceptions about what is expected of them, leading to frustration and underperformance.

I have felt this disparity firsthand and learned the hard way about the corporate world’s demands. This experience has fueled my passion for teaching others. I want to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and real-world expectations by providing fresh graduates with the guidance I wish I had.

My journey has shown me that learning doesn’t stop at graduation. It is a lifelong process that requires dedication, curiosity, and humility. I want to impart this mindset to others, teaching them how to learn effectively, grow in their careers, and ultimately lead with insight and integrity.

By focusing on data-driven and evidence-based knowledge, I aim to help people navigate through the sea of misinformation. I want to empower them to question, analyze, and make informed decisions. This approach not only enhances their professional lives but also contributes to their personal growth.

Through my non-profit endeavors, I offer training and consultancy services that equip individuals with the skills and knowledge they need to excel. My goal is to create a community of learners who are not just job-ready but are also capable of leading others towards a more informed and insightful world.

In essence, “I am the tenth man helping people learn, grow, and lead.” This tagline encapsulates my mission to challenge the status quo, foster continuous learning, and cultivate leadership grounded in knowledge and curiosity. It’s a journey of transformation that I invite others to embark on with me, as we strive to make a positive impact on the world, one learner at a time.
